Everyone love to eat nuggets! it's so crispy when you bite on it! NO?!
but ... to certain extend , we all know or aware that
nuggets are high in oil consumption ~
Nuggets are oily foods!
Nuggets are no no no NO
to people like us
who love to claim this statement
I'm FAT !
But ever since my "High-Tech"kitchen equipped with
Air Fryer & Thermomix
Chicken Nuggets has became
💧💧💧💧💧 (5 drops of oil)
to
💧 ( oil-free!)
Come , let me share you my recipe !
600g chicken fillet
1 onion (brown)
1 tsp chinese wine 绍兴酒
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 pcs egg
Others "tools"
- breadcrumbs (mine one with Italian Herbs, a little bit pricey than normal breadcrumbs)
- Kentucky fried chicken powder
- eggs (egg mixture , beat the eggs)
- ice-cream scoop
- Philips air fryer
- Thermomix
1. Place onion in TM bowl and chop 3 sec on Sp7
2. Put in chicken fillet , chop 5 sec on Sp7
3. Add in all the ingredients
4. Mix all ingredients. MC / reverse / Sp3 for 30 sec until combined.
5. Use a scoop to scoop the combine chicken fillet, dip into eggs mixture , dip into flour, repeat the step again, dip into egg mixture , dip into flour and lastly coated with breadcrumbs (You should shape your chicken nuggets during this step)
6. Preheat air fryer at 200°C 5 min
7. Place the nuggets into the basket , one side 200°C 10min , another side 200°C 5 min (if you prefer "cha" abit , then set it to 10 min instead of 5 min. Your nuggets should appear golden brown as picture shown)
if 5ml of oil is allow ... why not ?! brush on a thin layer of oil .. it will turn out really Crispy!
