hmm... 
dear readers and fellow sisters (i assumed most of my readers are female? no?)
how is year 2020 treating you so far?

I guess not too good right?

we are all depressed by the Covid-19 news / updates on daily basis!
and if you are a Malaysian, you probably feeling anger too as well... 
or maybe resentment?

Well ...  politics! Life still goes on...

I have to be honest with you, i was not in a good mood recently due to various news online... 
it depressed me! so i told myself , i only go to Facebook to post my photos , my updates and 
no more reading of the feeds online!
NO MORE
NOT anymore

Not only that, i guess a lot of my frens (well from the facebook feeds again)
have no choice but to cancel all the upcoming travel plans!

Urh ... i feel you ... but i cant encourage you to proceed as well right?
It is still up to your own-self to decide. 

Some of my frens texted me and said this to me : 
Phew, luckily you've came back in Singapore! Italy has locked down a few cities! Imagine that , if you were still there ... 

sigh .... 

So instead of sharing you unhappy feeds again, 
let me share with you a little bit of joy in my life recently!

Finally, i have decided to do a Hot Stamping on my Louis Vuitton collection!!

I'm sad to say Goodbye - DressyPat22 : Twenty3.my !


I'm sad to say GoodBYE!  @1 Aug 2018



Hi everyone, it's Sherlyn. Many of you will have noticed that things have somewhat slowed down at Twenty3, and you were probably wondering what's been going on over here. . I've been taking time off this year to focus on my mental health. As great a job that my team has been doing in running the company during this time, it has become apparent that it cannot keep doing that forever without a proper leader in charge. As much as I hate to admit it, Twenty3 is me. . I started the company from my boyfriend's bedroom with nothing, and somehow grew it to be one of the most recognizable fashion brands in the country! As recently as last year, I was still doing everything: from modeling, to managing our manufacturers, to planning marketing and promotions. Twenty3 was my baby, and I put my soul into it for every single exhausting day and sleepless night for the last 5 years. I've cried so many tears over it, through social media firestorms and our KLFW debut. And through it all, I've had to act tough and happy on Instagram. . The truth is, I'm not tough. I've been fighting depression my whole life. Officially, I was diagnosed with persistent depressive disorder and severe anxiety just last year. I'm still undergoing therapy and taking medication daily, but I know it's still just the beginning. I've had many setbacks in my recovery this year alone, even though I'm not even going to the office anymore. Once the mind has broken, it's very easy to shatter again, but I'm trying very hard to hold it together. . That's why I feel like I can no longer lead the company that I built, and I've taken the difficult decision to wind down the company to focus on my own recovery. The team has been incredible and very supportive throughout this time, but a small company like ours needs a strong captain to navigate this difficult industry. I am sad, but I'm also very proud of what we've achieved. No one can take that away from us. To those who stood by us, I'll forever be grateful that you believed in us. Thank you.

Nuffnang 8th Birthday Party!

It was a hectic Thursday for me, 
many meetings to attend that day, 
be honest , was a little bit unhappy that day as well..
But... 
during my busy schedule , i managed to check my personal email in the afternoon before i off from work
Tada! 
i got email from Nuffnang and they are inviting me to Nuffnang8irthday party!

i have to admit , I was real excited , wondering how the event will looks like, I never participate in any of their event before, questions like will I get bored since I don't know anyone there.... Dot dot dot many dots yet decided to click "confirm" button for my attendance.

DressyPat18 : English Cotton Baju Raya

It's another year again... And it's my 4th Baju kurung... 
Yup, AGAIN, I designed my own Baju kurung again.
Thanks to my Collig who got me this English cotton as souvenir from Bandung!
English Cotton best fit for baju kurung! 
This is how my design!


It's a baju kurung modern with kain duyung and lace on top! 
The kain (cloth) itself is very sweet color , its a sweet pink color!


I'm very satisfied with my "Baju Raya 2014"
haha .. 
Baju Raya .. yup , my company will have Raya Open House every year! 
there , im going to wear it !

DressyPat17 : Miss Selfridge wishlist!

i saw this two pieces dress from Nv You Magazine!!

this dress doesn't really catch my first glance while reading the magazine....
However, we could clearly see that current fashion trend are
crop top x pencil skirt!
Dorothy Perkins , Miss Selfridge , Forever 21 etc

Alright , you know is the trend now!

So happen to me that i went for a shopping that day,
and this dress caught my attention when i pass by the windows display of
Miss Selfridge

so i decided to go in and have myself fitting on it...
Miss Selfridge isn't my favourite fashion brand
due...to
the price tag!
hahah, yup, im a stringent lady when come to financial control!
Yup , i control my purse well! I'm proud to say that!

So after fitting on the dress ....
i was like ...
Wow ... feeling myself like a mermaid!
and in my favourite PINK some more!!

i'm just so in love with it!

But .. wait a moment , check on the price tag

Okay , well , with this price tag ,
i could buy myself a dinner gown/ dress...
so what if i buy it (since i'm so in love with it)
question come
do i dare to wear like this for special events / functions / friend's wedding ?
the answer is NO.
Well... well ... well....
So i didn't get this piece of dress at the end.

DressyPat16 : How do I wear to office this Autumn in New Zealand~

I knew it , this post is a bit too late ... 

So how do i dress up for my working trip in New Zealand?!
 


It was autumn with a lightly cold weather range from 10°C to 20°C
Not too cold , but was quiet windy! 
The place where I staying is near to the seaside~
I didn't carry a big luggage with me, to be actual was, I don't wear long sleeve to work in Malaysia!
Therefore, am having a tough time to think how am I going to dress myself to work in NZ 
if I can't wear jeans, sport shoes to work but a presentable office wear....

This type of attire will never appear on me back in Malaysia...

my new favourite item in my wardrobe would be this piece of 
White Lacey Crop Top x Christmas Blue Asymetric Skirt (hemline skirt) !!


I love it so much till i think it is perfectly match with any piece of my bottom pieces, 
be it skater skirt, high waist skirt, or high waist pant!!

DressyPat13 : Crop top mix & match

I know crop top has been a trend in Tokyo few years back....
But somehow it's only started... I mean you may started to see people wearing crop top in the shopping mall this very recently...

女友 magazine has such interpretation on crop top in their January issue...

So how to dress it?  i mean mix and match it.....

Meanwhile , I love geometric design as well....


You realize it? People mix and match with high waist pants! 

Yes , so do I!

Honest speaking, I rarely wear this skirt out cuz.... I don't really know how to mix and match it....
It look so funny....lol
Since then, why I bought it at the first place?
It's cost about Rm30 from Esprit Hong Kong... Wow ... Wow ... Wow....
Hmm... That's the reason! Buy and keep first !
 See, now I can match it with my crop top already! 
Isn't it?
It somehow does really make me look slimmer and taller!
